Favorite Albums of 2016

What a year. We lost some music icons for sure. Bowie. Cohen. Prince. Haggard. A lot of artists who left discographies worthy of spending months with. And our country just went through a pretty confusing election, leaving many to voice their depressing opinions about the state of our country all over Instragram (#itsadarkday). So I guess some people found some things to be down about this year. But. The music, you guys. There's a lot of it. And so much of it is so good.

I had a hard time compiling this list, as I always do. There were a lot of blockbuster albums that came out from the biggest names in the business, but I found myself not coming back to a lot of them and digging deeper into the albums that weren't so Billboardy and recognized. Click on the album artwork to watch a video of a live performance or a music video. Enjoy!
